Then Moses said to the Israelites: See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah; he has filled him with divine spirit, with skill, intelligence, and knowledge in every kind of craft, to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze, in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, in every kind of craft. And he has inspired him to teach, both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
He has filled them with skill to do every kind of work done by an artisan or by a designer or by an embroiderer in blue, purple, and crimson yarns, and in fine linen, or by a weaver—by any sort of artisan or skilled designer.
God uses the arts in a unique way.
Art can challenge us, delight us, and confront us. It's a medium that God's people have used since they were first called out of slavery, and we consider it part of our calling to continue to create prophetic art.
Below you will see a few of the projects we are working on, but there are always more being birthed. If you are interested in participating in art that points people to the Kingdom of God, please message Jared, our Creative Stream Coordinator - email@example.com
Additionally, while we have posted a few projects below, we also post photo and video galleries in other spaces. Click on the links below to see more!
Artist in Residence
Over the last two years we have had three Artists-in-Residence working at Eucharist. Each of them have had their own final art shows, and documented their projects. To read their blogs, which were recorded regularly while they were in residence, click below:
Table Songs by Eucharist Church
For the last five years our congregation has been crafting sacred music that has shaped and formed us. We want to give it away as a free gift to you. It is our hope and prayer that God uses it to transform you as well.
So listen to these songs, learn the words, and sing along as loud as you can. Belt it out on your commute and at the gym and while you do the dishes.
And as you do, bring your whole self to your Creator.
Every Sunday we gather as a church, and when we gather we bring it all: our emotions, our baggage, our pain, our desires, our unforgiveness, our joy, our doubt, our idols, our praise, and our faith:
We bring all of ourselves to the table... and we sing together.
These are our table songs.
The Manse Studios
The Manse Studios is an art studio partnership between Eucharist Church and MacNab Presbyterian Church. MacNab allows artists from Eucharist to use the second floor as a working space, and in return the artists help with building maintenance and on other random projects.
The project started in 2013 and has continued to grow and evolve. In addition to the eight core artists from Eucharist you'll also spot friends from the city working at a spare desk, and even a pastor and his guests hanging out with the creatives.
